I was reading this morning how 4 states, Arkansas, Indiana, Nevada and Virginia have all adopted the Neutral Facial Expression law when it comes to getting your Driver’s License these days.

Now isn’t this going to be something? EVERYONE is always saying just how horrible their Drivers License photo’s look to begin with, in fact most say it looks like a mug shot, and NOW, they aren’t even going to be allowed to Smile in their Driver’s License Mug Shot!!

Well, I suppose most people Don’t Smile anyway when they are getting a Mug Shot taken, but there will probably be a lot more terrified Police Officers out there in these states when they ask people for their ID’s from now on!!!

Needless to say I am sure that a lot more states in America are going to follow suit and adopt this law also, so I suppose we should all get ready for some Worse Driver’s License photos in the future! And remember:

I have been irritated about this video all week-end and have finally decided that it bothers me so much that I just must say something!

E! News supposidly “confirmed that Angelina Jolie and her ever-burgeoning brood left the Lenval hospital in Nice, France, early Saturday” morning at 4:00 a.m.

This was done obviously to prevent too many of the paparazzi being around and of course for the safety of the children.

I personally think this was a very smart move and I would have done the same thing had I been Angelina and Brad.

But that’s not what is bothering me. What irritates me to no end is the video that is shown by AP. The video claims that there is a time lapse of 8 seconds but look at the amount of daylight in the video! 8 seconds at that time of day does not the difference between darkness and complete daylight make!

It is suppose to be Angelina, Brad and all of the children at 4:00 a.m. and it looks more like it was taken at 4:00 p.m.!!!!

I live only 3 or 4 hours from the location and take my word for it on Saturday morning, especially last Saturday morning, there was no way that it was that light at 4:00 a.m.!! In fact I happen to have been awake at 4:00 a.m. Saturday and it was still very dark at that time!

It would always be that dark at 4:00 a.m. in the morning whether it be summer or winter and last Saturday it was an especially dark day almost all day because of the terrible weather we’re having in our area!

In the video you can’t tell who is in the blackened out ambulance so obviously it makes one wonder what on Earth is AP trying to pull? Who were these people in this blacked out ambulance in the middle of the day? The reporters family? Some people that they found walking down the street and paid them to get into the vehicle? Or???

I don’t know about you but I always thought that AP was pretty reliable. I know that the press shoot video’s and write articles to suit their needs all of the time just to sell papers but this is ridiculous.

Now I’m not saying positively that this is a fake for sure, after all I will admit that I was not there personally, but think about it…how many times have you see it so light at 4:00 a.m. in France??

I find it very insulting that the press, especially AP, thinks that the public is so stupid that we can’t tell the difference between the middle of the night and the middle of the day!

I think this should be one of those “very embarrassing moments” and shame on you AP…you should be ashamed of yourself! If you can’t get the story/video honestly doesn’t mean that it is right to try to pull the wool over the public’s eyes!

Ahhhh, those politicians, you gotta love ‘em! Seems like we love to hate them, love to make fun of them and love make them the butt of all of our jokes, especially at election time, and why?

Because they are always going on about how they would do things differently, seems like they all want to “Change” things. Trouble is, will they in fact change things and more importantly will it be for the better or for the worse??

So today why don’t we see them really singing like birds about:

With the Mission Impossible theme playing in the background Tom Cruise says that he has canceled spectatorism in his “area”? According to him we don’t have time for spectatorism any more and “Man, you’re either in or your out”!!

Supposedly you’re either in the field or out of the arena because we have the responsibility to educate and create the new reality.

He wants us to have enough love, compassion and toughness to do it right.

According to him it’s wild, woolly and a blast and there is nothing better than fighting a fight and things are better.

He feels that people are depending on “us” and he does what he can the way that he does everything…”there’s nothing part of the way for me”.

It seems that the question of doing it right boils down to;

Would you want others to achieve the knowledge you now have?

Tom has introduced over 1 billion people on earth and supposedly that’s only the 1st wave he’s unleashed!

If you think that Tom jumping on Oprah’s new couch was bad then you ain’t seen nothin’ yet! In this video he seems way “out of the arena” to me and if that dog has been “unleashed” then maybe someone should get him “leashed”…in a hurry!

Jeanne Moos from CNN.com has reported on the “Great Weight Debate” of Britney Spears!

While I do think her performance left something to be desired, (I try to be nice!), and she maybe should not have worn the “clothing” that she wore, (but I heard that she had been up for a few nights partying with the “Big Boys”, so maybe she just got out of bed and came down from her room to do her act!), I do feel somewhat sorry for her with everyone jumping on the how “fat” she is bandwagon!

If it had been anyone else, most of us would have been saying how nice it was that she had such a good figure after having 2 little ones!

But like they say…If you put it out there then you have to expect that people are going to talk…especially if you are in the news as much as Britney has in recent months!

Make Sure that you keep an eye open at about the half way mark for the YouTube Video that was done by the…”disturbed”, to say the least, “Fan”, Chris Crocker, of Britney’s!

I suppose that this fans video standing up for Britney can be considered a good thing and it was nice to finally see Britney’s fan as Everyone on this earth deserves to have ONE Fan, but to tell you the truth about it, I hope she Never becomes Mine!!

Hi All!

I was speaking to a friend of mine last night, and was teasing him mercilessly as I like to do from time to time. I know that he is a little bit on the shy side, (hence the reason that I enjoy teasing him), and when asking him if he was shy his exact words were:

Somewhat shy. No problem intentionally acting stupid in public, embarrassed easily by accidentally doing it.

As always I try to go into the week-end with a bit of humor, so I thought I would bring you a few of the more embarrassing moments that I have had in my lifetime, (there are Many More, Too Many to mention), just so you know that I too can be embarrassed!

YOU know who you are and this post is dedicated to YOU!

I hope everyone in one way or another can relate to life’s most embarrassing moments!

One year I was invited to a Christmas party and this was a Very Important party, a few hundred people I would venture to guess! I was dressed in my Christmas finery, bright red mini dress, as I recall, with my red Santa hat and Extremely high heels! I had commented to the host what an absolutely beautiful Christmas tree he had as soon as I walked in. Knowing exactly where he had gotten it and the decorations I knew that he had paid an absolute fortune for everything, and it showed. As the evening wore on I had a few dances with a few gentlemen, the Tree, being the “center” of the party was the place that everyone was dancing around. At one point, one of my partners decided to “turn” me unexpectedly, well, my over 6 inch heels & I were not at all ready for the “turn”! I went “flying”, (I do that often), into the Christmas tree!!! The ENTIRE tree was totally destroyed!! I was laying in the middle of the tree, half on top of it and it half on top of me, mini skirt, what little there was of it, up around my waist, almost every ornament and light broken and I had to have help getting up on my feet again!! He was a Very Gracious Host I must say, he was not upset with me, in fact just the opposite, he was laughing harder than anyone I believe! When I offered to leave he said he would not have any part of it and even ask me to dance around the now, totally destroyed, Christmas tree! I did, by the way, get up extremely early the next morning, let myself quitely into his house and cleaned up the “mess” while he was sleeping! I also offered to pay for all of the damage but he would not hear of it!

Another time I was visiting a cousin and we decided to go horse back riding! He kept some absolutely beautiful horses on his farm, in fact he also boarded my couple of Shetlands that I had bought at an auction a couple of years before. I had gone horse back riding a few times in my life and must admit that I am not the greatest horse woman that has ever lived but I could usually manage to stay On Top of one!! When we got to the horses he said that he would pick one out for me as he knew the horses well and the one that I usually rode when I was there had died a couple of years before. Knowing I needed a Very Gentle horse he put the saddle on one and was sweet enough to help me up, being as short as I am I tend to have problems “mounting”?? a horse! Off we go riding, seeming not to have any problems. He was heading us towards the house, where there was a Very Loud Family Reunion with the Entire Family going on. As we got closer to the family and the party the horse begin acting up and I mean Really Acting Up, he started rearing up on his 2 hind legs and believe me when I tell you I was holding on for dear life!! I couldn’t get him to stop, I was terrified! My cousin, Mike, was laughing like a hyena right about now, the rest of the family seeing this “spectacle” was dying laughing also, me, I was just dying!! Mike did finally ride over and get the horse settled down and started leading us Away from the party, and the farther away we got the more calmed down the horse became, as it turned out the horse was terrified of loud noises. Mike of course knew this but said that he had done it only because of something that I had done to him the last time that I stayed at his house!! We will not go into that! But thinking back on it, I suppose it was poetic justice!

And last, but certainly not least:

When I was younger my friends and I played “Truth or Dare” a lot, doesn’t everyone? Anyway, when it was my turn, I choose “Dare”, my “friends” “Dared” me to run around the neighborhood naked! It was quite late at night and I saw no problem as most people were in bed at that time! So, I took off my clothes and ran around the block! On my way home I cut through a back yard as a shortcut and when I did, a very large and loud dog started barking and runing after me! This shocked me because the last time I remember they did not have a dog, (in fact they had just gotten the dog that day as it turned out)! I, being the clumsy person that I am fell down and spranged my ankle! Me screaming out of pain and the dog barking loudly, needless to say, woke the entire neighborhood! “Everyone” & I Do mean “Everyone” came running out of their houses to see what all of the fuss was about! So I suppose you could say I provided the neighborhood with a little “Midnight Showing”, “Free”, “Peep Show”, AND, I had to be carried home naked by the neighbor himself!!!

I hope that these stories have brought a little smile to your faces as I have now totally lived through these very embarrassing moments of my life yet again!
